A KOSTAL G3 inverter and BYD HVS battery installation monitored with SmartPhoton Remote Bridge through the ESP32 proxy developed for this project.

The ESP32 proxy's role

The proxy links to the installation to feed the remote monitoring interface. The interface displays solar, inverter, battery and grid data when available.

A transparent view of project status

The supplied screenshot shows read-only access marked FC03. It also shows current limitations: the hybrid energy balance needs validation, battery charge/discharge direction is not validated, and direct KSEM is not configured. No general household energy balance is claimed.

These points remain visible to distinguish displayed data from interpretations still undergoing validation.

Within the SmartPhoton ecosystem

This project complements the battery and inverter modules. Data exposed by the modules can be reused in other applications through MQTT.
