So yes, in broadcasting mode – that is, BMS master mode – it’s impossible to change the values because the bus master is the battery, not my software.
That’s just how it is.
In the other mode, my software becomes the bus master and the BMS units act as slaves, and in that case we can change the values.
Some people use the port on the far left to change the settings. Because it’s a different bus. So, in theory, it should be possible.
But in my case, I have my inverter connected there, so I haven’t tested this option.
You must remember to set the UART to the same value as the other UART3
