I have waveshare rs485 to usb, proxmox server with homeassistant vm. I can see BMS Global 3 entities, BMS_1 with 128 entities and BMS_2 with 127 entities under MQTT however I can not change any control points.

BMS 1 is dip switch 1, BMS 2 is dip switch 2. cord plugged into second from most right 485 next to parallel (furthest right)
Debug = off, Broadcast = off, Can = off

JK-BMS wired management version 3.6.6

what am i missing here to get the controls from home assistant working? do i need to configure something in mqtt to allow writes to be sent?
